A grant from the Haines Family Foundation covered costs of four high-definition video cameras and tripods for the Entertainment Technologies major that prepares students for careers in film, television and digital media. The grant expanded the number of students who could have sustained exposure to the technology that has emerged as an industry standard, allowing the kind of seamless transition that is an overarching goal for all BCIT career majors.
